Ah cute, but maybe we should have found that out before we painted her? Insignificant?!!! Ooops
Useful to know cause it gives us an idea of their history - spasmodic use and maybe a lot of adventures but less likely to have been overworked as a daily workhorse. Special [/quote]
Mine has THE BADGE!!!! And is an overworked workhorse.

Ha! Typical! Well that theory lasted about 12 hrs then.
Hi
We have a caravelle camping with this logo on it which also has a Bilbo hightop. I bought the van thinking it was a Bilbo but was plesently surprised to work out that it was actually an Autohomes that had had a Bilbo roof put on later on in life for what ever reason. The giveaway was seeing pictures of other peoples Autohomes interiors and seeing a sticker in the front quarter light window on ours from Autohomes.
Maybe yours is similarly, a conversion from new that has had a replacement roof put on it??????
Good luck sorting it all out.

The great thing about a Type 25, no two are the same. Ever. History's one thing, but just how are you making your Transporter truly yours?
Nice paintjob btw.

I agree. But boy has it been fun finding out more about our camper's origin. We are family with a family's variety of quirks. Love it.
