Supposed to be quite a good tyre..

Actually in France you are not legally allowed to fit different size wheels and tyres from whatever the factory specified.. (yes, I and most of the other froggy Syncro owners did)..

Must admit i like the look of the tread pattern, wouldnt mind some in 15" for myself!

Hmm... In Norway me are not allowed to fit tires that differ more than 5 % from stock. What i have heard is that you can get a paper from tho vw importer that sais the syncro is approved for 215/75 R16 (with no mention that the 16" is a different model :wink: ) so you can fit other tires legally. that might work in France too?

Back on topic: those do look really nice!

We are also not allowed to fit anything other than 185R14 or 205/70 14 unless you have a paper with exemptions.

and prob 205r14 as that was a factory fittment too... my Syncro has the tyre pressures for all 3 sizes in the door pillar and it was originally a German market vehicle..
