fitting windout awning

Post by matty o »

Looking to fit a awning to the van (a devon poptop) but the clamps for the roof are in the same place as where the brackets for the awaning need to go any ideas how to overcome this.
Thanks

Had a similar dilemma...... overlooked the obvious. Use your drive away awning as a tent, drive up to the 'Front Door' & wind out the awnining to form a canopy. Use a couple of windbreaks as a corridor/ eating area. So much easier to get away & pull up to!
