Re: Rollering van Tomorrow
I take it you're using Rustoleum. It's moisture resistant to a certain extent so soak the area around the van. Any splashes/drips etc will not "take" on the concrete/tarmac. Either that or lay loads of rags on the floor. One more tip for next time: A sanding block in each hand gets the job done quicker.
Good luck, hoping to do some more on mine next week!

Re: Rollering van Tomorrow
Mrs Pocolow here...it seems to have gone well. The van looks good and the kitchen stinks of paint but Mark appears to have gone out (i've nipped home for lunch).

Re: Rollering van Tomorrow
Back from lunch ..BUUURRRPPP...aah that's better. Well I got stuck in with the rollering this morning. Took me about half an hour to mix the paint at 5 parts paint to 1 part white spirit (runny custard ).. My technique improved as i went round the van..Thankfully with it being not to hot today I had a reasonable time to work the paint on with the roller(5mins). The only hic up being when it started to rain 10 mins in , but my patio umbrella saved the day..then the roller fell off the handle
, all in all very pleased for the first coat It took 2 hours to do the sides and tail gate and all this done on the street outside our house.

Re: Rollering van Tomorrow
I can't believe how well this rollering thing works. If someone had told me a couple of weeks ago I'd be considering it I'd have said they were nuts!
