Do you have gas there ? Is the gas switched on ? Is the 'electric' 12v or 240v ? ... IF you'd told us the model we'd know. If on 12v the engine has to be running when properly installed when parked up on 240v OR gas it helps if the fridge is as level as possible.

There's downloadable manuals for the fridges in the Wiki (hammer icon top of page) :ok

Get someone to press the knob in and sniff the flue, if you smell gas the spark isn't enough or not placed near enough to the burner.

give it 10 secs next time on full

mine wouldn't light for 2 reasons:
1. the wire to the sparker had come off (solution: push it back on)
2. the gas pressure, whilst high enough to power the cooker, was not high enough to power the fridge (solution: get a new gas bottle)
now it works.

The area immediately around the spark electrode / burner can build up carbon deposits over the years which will obstruct or deflect the spark. My old camper's fridge had a lump of carbon stuck in there the size of a small pebble. Also, when a fridge hasn't been used on gas for a long time it takes ages for the gas to get through as unlike the cooker, the flow of gas through the fridge gas outlet is tiny. Sometimes after mines been laid up a bit it lights for a few seconds but then goes out and will not re-light for (what seems like) ages holding the knob in.

Once lit it will still take a good couple of hours for the process to get up and running properly.
