Right I live In Brighton have owend an Aircooled type 3 fastback for 7 years my Aircooled T25 for 6 and now have a watercooled T25

Pjeiffer no longer works with older models preferring computerised V.W.'s
Charlie in Argle road although good can be a bit slap dash make you wait ages and is not too keen on high tops due to space
Days V.W. off Western Road I have used him before and he is quite good , also too may hi tops and there is a problem

There is a guy near Millionares row near Hove Lagoon who takes in these vans but never used him.

I recently needed a new clutch and drove it (as I sorted it as soon as I knew it was going) to Lincolnshire and Simon sorted it (toomanytoys) you know it is done at a good price, you will not be ripped off and from experience he would not let you leave until the van was running perfectly

Recently had mine done by the marvellous Charlie of Campbell Road nr. Preston Circus in Brighton. It's never ready when he says its going to be, but all his regular clients with vans and beetles have got used to that and make allowance for it. he knows T25s and type 2's inside out and right way round. For complete clutch replacemnet he charged me £260. So I sympathise with peeps that are clearly being ripped off!. Happy declutching!
club no.4113. Have a 1987 van turned camper with a Holdsworth roof and home made interiorwith grey furry upholstery and too much rust!
