I was concerned about buying a lefty westy but I now would'nt change it for anything else. A lefty is really easy to drive. The only downside is getting into the passenger seat and not being able to find the steering wheel!! That takes a bit of getting used to!!

why go to the hassle mate? i reckon it would be easier selling the lefty and just buying a right hand drive. i have a left hand drive but it doesn't bother me coz it's not used as a daily driver. to answer your question it can be done but it's an involved job for ur diy mechanic :|
Why pay someone else to fix it for you when you can waste 2 months doing it yourself!

i have done it and i know of sevral others that have done it!

i posted some pics on hear somewhere.

took 3 days , you basically need a donor van.

or i can supply the parts.

you need to change the wipers , this is the only part of external bodywork you need to change ,
some welding is required to relocate the steering idler part , other than that its more bolting / unbolting parts.

never seen that option on there!

they are not interested.

bit like when i changed to a camper from a panel van , just had to fill in the box and send the form!
also changed several vans from petrol to diesel , and up or lower the cc takes nothing more than posting a form.

also the colour of my van on the log book is 'not stated' does upset thje police when the stop me , but apparently they cant do anything about it only i can if i want to....
