New owner tips

Hello everyone, we got one!
A T25 Westfalia Joker in Lime Green with a pop up roof, very jazzy!
I only hope I won't have to bombard you all with questions (after these few anyway)
Here it goes...
One of the seat cushions (predictably the one everyone sits on) needs recovering, I've worked out the material is Van Dyck EN... seems impossible to find, any tips? Someone suggested using the underside of the cushion covering the engine... but it seems a shame to mess up a perfectly good original cushion.

Also looking for a front table, which appears to be missing/never installed... any ideas?

I have cleaned off the mildew from the pop up roof with milton (great tip) and now looking to make (hopefully cheaper) a silver screen to go around the outside, does anyone know any cheap places to get this stuff, I don't actually know what it's called?

Finally... I know, I promise... last one... it's Lime Green, what are the chances of getting some paint in that colour to touch up a few bits? Does anyone know of any similar colours if not? It's seriously bright green!

The silver screens are made from Foil wrap insulation or thermowap, I;ve just bought 30sqm of the stuff to make a silver screen for my devon, and finsh of a little more insulation.

Thank you for all your replies, I've had a look on the busshop website, helpfully google now does a tool bar that translates the page to English so that was good!

Looking at Wickes I don't think we'll have to spend more than £20 on a cover now, which is a vast improvement, thank goodness, these campers are little draining in the money department aren't they... can't say we weren't warned though!

I'll have a look for the paint code at the weekend and see what I can find out.

Now just for the dodgy fridge and eber heater... mileometer and wet footwell... we'll get there!

We are giving Vanfest a miss this year as it's a long way in a relatively 'new' camper, for us, we are going for a test camp instead this weekend! Will be at Brighton Breeze though and we can't wait!

Ahhaa! Well done on your first outing You're more than welcomed. The site is more of a corporate showground than a campsite, with lots of different arenas. We get a smaller field close to Old Father Thames. And in the morning have a megahooooge boot fair next door to visit.... if that your thing?

There is a toilet nearby but cannot guarantee for the use of, campers, one group. Time to invest in a chemical toilet perhaps?

Then type in Sunbury Lock. Enlarge satellite map until Sunbry Lock name appears. We are normally sited close to the south side of the lock. Will get postcode sorted for you and keep you posted.

My grandma gave us her old one today. Woohoo we're all sorted. We're now full members too so can access the thread. Thank you for post code offer, my grandma said she stayed there before and couldn't find it at first can't wait. Ps love boot fairs!
