Camp Fires
I'm after something small and portable for having camp fires in. Something that will last but also keep the fire off the floor. We have been using a little bucket bbq recently. Whilst it's handy for bbq's it's a bit too small for having a decent fire in afterwards. Plus the paint set alight the last time we used it for a fire

I use one of these, dirt cheap (about £10) so I just chuck it away each year when its rusty and get a new one.
Not massive but big enough and a good BBQ

Been looking for one of those locally with no luck. Where do you get them from?

Usually have them in Focus type DIY places or some supermarkets.Tesco did sell them but have now sold out
I think you'll struggle now as they tend get them in early in the year.

i use one of those, its good for BBQing (although a tad small) and you can stick a 'crackle log' on there after for that cosy campfire feel

Re: Camp Fires
A friend of mine uses a chimenea to provide heat and flame and smoke - that's what a camp fire is all about - right? These are sold as patio heaters online and in garden centres and come in a big range of sizes and prices.
For example Argos - type 'chimenea' into the search thingy. Around £50.
Might still need to be sat on a piece of ply or something to stop embers and radiated heat scorching the grass.
