CU /CJ Gearbox compatibility??

Post by toolsntat »

I have a 2.0l CJ engine and gearbox going spare at the moment and would like to know if the gearbox is OK to sell as useable with the 2.0l CU :?:
The engine and box came from a late baywindow van.
Cheers
Andy

No... the gear selector mech is on the nose of the bay window box, where the selector mech is on the side of the T25 box..
IIRC.. the CJ engine is essentially the same as the CU but tinware is different for the bay window/T25...
