1990 Autohomes top vent cover

Post by klinion »

Hi, anyone replaced a top outside vent cover with an alternative or maybe has one for sale. Was in a freak hail shower (golf ball size) in France. Smashed windscreen, top vent, side high top window and this vent. Got everything else, side window coming via this forum which is magic, Ken

Hi Klinion

I've Just replaced mine, got it from a local caravan dealers, was a direct replacement to the original. Ask for a 280mm x 280mm vent together with a roll of sealent to sit it on, easy to replace Oh it has a fly screen as well.
Our local dealer was Black Country Caravans, they may do mail order. Hope this helps.

Hi tomo,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately my description wasn't very good so you directed me to the wrong vent. Sorry. I should have called it the top gas vent on the side of the van. Anyway, a photo below should make it clear.
Many Thanks,
Ken
