Problems with my 1987 1.6TD T25 Camper

Hi

I think that my van has blown its head gasget. eg.Water pipes going solid and bursting I have looked for the themostat but it looks like the previous owners removed it. Has anyone got any advice on which is the best maintenance book for this model as I believe that the bently book does not cover this engine, and the best place to obtain parts that I will need

just kampers do one just for diesels about 12 quid .
