Quick Question - Brake/Clutch fluid (best value?)

Big lumps of metals and spanners.

Quick Question - Brake/Clutch fluid (best value?)

Post by limbo »

We're heading off to Brittany tomorrow

Thought it prudent to take a bottle of brake/clutch fluid - just in case.

Any advice on the best brand for a 85 1.9 Watercooled?

Also - we've got an old (looking) bottle of coolant, so wondered if you have a reccomendation for that too?

Cheers, Liam

Any 'Dot 4' grade brake fluid will be fine, I carry 1/2 a litre just in case

As for coolant .... I have a 5 litre of 50/50 mix I carry all the time. If you struggle for room though you could just top up from water out of your drinking water tank.
