glow plug problem

Post by saviogimmi »

Had an intresting weekend away in Dorset, the van failed to start sat morning, turning over fuel pumping so got out my multi meter to discover no power going to the glow plugs. For the life of me i couldn't find the 50 amp fuse??? nor what relay it uses. I did find a burnt out wire in the fuse box under the steering wheel. Could someone send me in the right directions for the fuse and relay etc, or a fuse box pic. Ps manage to get it going by using a cut jump lead conecting to pos on the batt then turning it over and getting a friend to touch the glow plug connector!!!!

I think the relay is in that box as well, but they rarely go.
