How long have you left it running for? It can take quite a while for the process to start to take effect. The metal tray in the freezer compartment is what actually does the cooling so feel that - but carefully as it can really get very cold.

Hey! before you rip the thing out and invert it, i have one thing to for you to consider.....

is the fridge level, front to back, left to right?
because some are very very sensitive to being level.

get a sprit level and check.

5 deg makes the difference between cooling and not with some......

then read this

I have some more information about my problem with the fridge, Firstly I have not been able to try the fridge on the mains
hook up setting so don't know if that works but on my way home today I tried it on the leisure battery setting and when I got
home and checked the fridge was cool. Does this help anyone with my problem?
Does any one know of anywhere in the Greater Manchester area who can fix the problem ?

if its working on electric, it can only be a flame problem on gas.....

is your fridge an original westfalia fitted in a left hand drive?
Has the regulator been changed?

The westy fridges are set to use two different jet sizes for 28mb and 50 mb gas pressures
the europeans generally used 50mb and the yanks had the 28mb westies.

you will probably need to change the regulator to give the right pressure you will get a flame with the 28mb reg fitted to the 50mb system but the flame will not be big enough.
I found this out myself and once i reinstalled a 50 mb regulator the fridge works a1 on gas
you can buy 50mb regs to fit uk calor etc :ok
hope this helps
