earth lead

just removed my earth lead ,it is starting to split ,where do i purchase 1 from are they stocked by gsf ,do i have to purchase from vw or will one do from the local car spare shop ?

Any decent motor factors will stock a suitable negative earth strap. Take yours in and show them what you have. It doesn't necsessarily have to be a braided type as long as its the correct gauge, length. fittings, etc. Wouild imagine GSF stock them if you have one local to you, check their site.
