I have the haynes manual for both and tried figuring out the wiring diagrams but i just cant make head nor tail of them. Im pretty competitent with DIY mechanics but the wiring is another story. Thing is it was like this when i bought it a few months ago so dont know if it ever worked.
Anyone around here got a Kjet Golf Engine in a T25?
Cheers

Re: cooling system problems
Is the T25 temp guage wiring attatched via a single spade? (red and yellow wire)? To one of the flanges?

Re: cooling system problems
Its an early 1983 diesel van with a golf gti mk1 K jet engine installed.
Basically i have a heat sender but its used by the cold start valve, behind it is a single spade connector and also on the side of the head there is another spade connector but i have nothing to connect to it lol
Sorry not very explanatory, ill try and take some pics
