check the labels on the back, an original fat PS2 is 50w, TV is ??? add the two together and then put a bit more on for luck, not exact science but it should work

or

Get a slimline PS2 and a 12v - 8.5v converter and a 12V TV!
We're doomed!

Well, that's what baffles me , the inverter says it is 150 w continuous , 450w "surge " -- but it wont even run the 50 w ps2 on its own, let alone together with telly .

A colour Tv by itself would on average consume 150-300w depending on size 50w PS2 and you need an extra 10-20w for safe measure. I have a 800w inverter works a treat :ok Mark

How have you connected the invertor to the battery? Mine also beeps to warn me that the battery voltage is low but if the connections are poor or the leads from invertor to battery too long the invertor gets fooled into thinking the battery is low and starts to beep, might be worth checking connections, cable length, etc.
