Hi
Just bought a 1982 Bamboo Yellow T25 and I love it.
I would like to get her serviced and wondered if anybody could recommend someone in the Essex area (Southend) that can be trusted with the dream machine?
Many thanks
Mark
P.s. Also looking for a new set of door mirrors and the rubber surrounds on the drivers and passenger doors
cheers

Whats matter with old ones. Are they floppy? Remove from door panel via two screws and tighten nut inside

Try .....

Thanks for the replies guys.
Will get some pics sorted out asap.
Buttercup as my daughter has named her is a Camper (not sure about the other versions you mentioned but she has a top bit that extends out) and I drove her all the way back from North Devon to Essex on Sunday.
Took 6 hours as I found out she's not too keen on hills and is happy to sit at steady 62mph on the motorways.
But weirdly found it to be a relaxing and pleasant drive (apart from a completely numb ass... is that normal with these vans or do I need a new seat??)
She did drink a lot a oil and the back of her is covered in an oily sheen, so something needs looking at. I think it might be the piston rod seals, hence the mechanic.
Thanks for the tip on the mobile mechanic, I will give them a shout.
Do you guys organise meets and stuff?
Cheers

The current mirrors have ruddy big screws screwed into the plastic to hold them in place. Cant even adjust the passenger side one.
Thanks for the welcome and looking forward to becoming more involved in the club and some happy T25 days
