pipe dreams are the least of my worries!!!!!!!

Post by woodmonkey »

been to a friends house for a barbeque, got back in the van turned the key and just got a quiet click and silence. i figure it's a starter motor problem, gotta tow it home tomorrow and have a look. any hints or tips would be appreciated
while trying to fix a brake servo i don't have an unconnected pipe was found, when traced it went to the fuel tank, opposite side to the filter etc. i'm a little worried about a pipe from the fuel tank that prob should go somewhere. i looked in haynes, it's on the pic's but not mentioned, anyone any ideas where it should be connected to? she's a 1980 2l Aircooled in a 1600 van :? :(

Sure its not an old brake pipe? Often when they're replaced, the central one is a devil to pull out and people route a new one, cutting the old one off.
