leisure battery help

im trying to set up my leisure battery n neeed some advice. my starter battery is connected with a set of wires, (i imagine a set, as haven't cut the rubber tube covering them, so i'm assuming that there is more than one wire underneath????) im looking to connect up my cd player and maybe the interior lights (the standard one above the driver door) to the leisure battery, can anyone offer any help please???? do i have to cut the tube, follow the wiring to cd player, if so which one... etc ect, if anyones set up their cd player to a lb, would be cool to know how it was done.

what year is the van?

look for the fuse that protects the interior light and the radio, and unplug the feed wire from the fusebox, add a fuse and connect it to the pos of the leisure battery, job done...... everything that run off that fuse postition in the fuse box, now runs from the leisure battery without messing with the wiring
