Waffle Boards

Post by syncrodoug »

I have loacated a source of potentially cheap waffle boards, the green fibre glass honeycombe type - 38mm deep.
I need some idea of numbers and sizes of boards people would like so I can negotiate a price with the supplier.
The supplier is a local recycling firm who purchased a job lot for various uses in his business (£20Ks worth) and has a rather large pile surplus to requirement!

Hi Doug,

Count me in for a couple of pieces. At least 4' x 1'. 5' would be better but it depends on the size of the sheet I guess.

Thanks.

I'll have a pair if they are cheap.
The normal sizes are;
- 1220mm x 310mm
- 1000mm x 310mm is the smaller ones.

I would like the 1220 x 310 ones please? Can you take em to Vanfest? Green is not my colour, it won't match the paint but if they are cheap will make do.
Cheers
Rob.

You can have any size within reason as they will be cut from the various pieces in the pile - it's a very big pile.
So what I'll do is assume everyone wants a pair say 1500 by 300mm (5ft by 1ft) so I can a rough price from the bloke.
Stan/Rob it's green and 38mm deep!

Hey Doug, its looking like your van is going to be loaded up with waffle boards like this.

Image

Only mine was concrete blocks with a generous crust of insulation and three drainpipe flakes.
