pop top installation

Post by nicwolverine »

Hello folks and folkesses.

Firstly i'd like to say hi as this is my 1st post on here (although i've read and reread the roller thread many many times :) )
My technical question is this.
I have a type 3 caravelle but want to put a pop top on it so i'm not on my knees making dinner :P
I'm a member of a VW club, but have about the only T25 there, but one of the splitty owners said it would be easy enough to fit a devon type pop top but i've trawled the internet for places to buy the hard cover but to no avail.
So how easy is it really ? and where can i buy the hard cover (I only want a square one about 3 foot long not the full roof one available from justkampers)

think they only do the canvass :(
need the roof part as well as its currently a tin top.
thanks for the link though, will give em a call in the morning and see if they do both, if the prices are for the roof and canvass then that is a bargain :D
