Engine Code

Post by alexgagnon »

Hi I'm shopping for a replacement engine for my 1991 Westfalia Vanagon 1.6TD (T25) does anyone know what the engine code for this would be, or where I can find out what it is.. would it be somewhere on the engine?

Thanks

Nice one, do you have a rough idea how much it would cost to install a reconditioned engine?

A reconditioned engine goes for around £900-£1200 that dosen't include all the ancillaries..pump, alternator, turbo etc etc then fitting depends upon who assembles it all together before fitting..so it ain't cheap Mark
