Warm Feet

Post by DanO »

I've a 1.6TD (not sure if it makes any difference?), but after the van is running I've got permanently warm air on my feet........is this usual?

Heat from hot water coolant pipes heating up surronding air, then getting blown in through gaps and holes from around accellerator pedal, (sometimes normal).
There was an article published by Clive (Harryman) about how you go about insulating the exposed coolant pipes in the Wiki,
Its ok in summer, but in Winter got to try an keep as much heat in your pipes as possible.
