Squeeky Avo Setup???

Hi Guys,

First things first ive now got brakes


But back to the next problem on the small list finaaly after 5-6 weeks took the panel around the village to see what the brakes actually felt like and noticed that my new 70mm Avo kit is very noisey on the rear??? it seems that everytime you go up or down a bump, hole rutt etc it solds like it should be met with the phrase if its a rocking dont come a knockin lol...

Im not overly worried at the mo but where due to go away in her in the next couple of weekends and i dont want to ruin the trip with the excessive noise

To my knowledge its not the rear a arm bushes as they seem totally fine... Ive also ordered the Poly bush kit from brickwerks which should be here tomorrow im hoping

Has anyone else had this problem going this low???

if it's noisy (and it shouldn't be) then your dampers are either wrong or cooked. Have the first two bump stops been removed?

at 70mm lower, there is no room for floaty spring travel.
The ride will always be harsh... and noisy

the shock are the brand new avo adjustables, to which are as they came out of the box a few weeks ago...

so really i should ask could it be that they need setting up if so what should they be at for a daily??

70mm AVO springs and dampers are not harsh or noisy - fact.
Dampers are adjustable, so you can set them as you wish.
What state are the trailing arm bushes in?
Squeeky suspension is usually front upper wishbone bushes.

sorry simon I meant to compare them with standard suspension with the usual worn out shocks so compared to that they are harsh ..also a fact.
