rear brake shoe pivot points

Post by armyphil »

How on earth do you get these little buggers out??

I have ordered new back plates but i am not sure if they come with the pivots so need to get them out.

I have tried molegrips and a screwdriver through the groove to twist them out.

I would try heat but do not have access to any

any ideas will be tried

Thanks in advance

Grind down the housing to split it, then tap out with chisel.
