Re: Another "Does anyone know this syncro" topic
Hi,
I spotted a couple of things from the gumtree photos. Firstly the elevating roof has been changed between the white and yellow stages. Secondly the registration is the one before mine and that probably means that this is also a ex Yorkshire Water vehicle. Mine was also a 1.6TD originally.
Other than that, I can't offer any info on this particular vehicle.

Actually, I have just looked closer at the pictures and realise that the yellow vehicle is not the same one. It appears to be a left hooker since there is no sliding door visible.

Thanks Garyd. I've come to the conclusion that it's not one that I'll pursue. If it was better known on the forum it would give me a little more reassurance.

It might be worth a look if you know what you are looking at. It might well be a good van advertised badly. None of my 3 Syncro's were known to the forum before I bought them.

Pete, I'm OK on the mechanicals but rust traps are an unknown to me. Apart from a topic that I saw a while ago regarding rust in a rear transverse chassis member and rusty seams I'm clueless. I'd be happier with a van that had been cherished. Then again all syncros are 17 years or older so what should I expect?
