Roof leak
Hi. I have a 89 Vanagon Westfalia Pop top. Since I have owned it a large amount of damp spores have appeared on the inside of the roof. The seals look fine, so I was thinking that maybe the roof, like plastic hulled yachts of a certain age is suffering from Osmosis. Anybody had a silimar problem and cure would be appreciated.

Re: Roof leak
Hi Allan,
Ours has the same although it is after market fitted and I gather a lot of others do too.
I ve been told (by LHD Rob) that if you clean with Milton it will clean up and keeps the damp at bay.

Cheers Andy. James the roof is down most of the time due to the Scottish Rain. Will try to clean it with Milton but looking to get to the cause of the dampness to rectify it. Any further suggestions welcome.
