Re: Nomad 3
We bought one about a month ago, and have to say we really like it. The little window at the top lets in loads of light. The two flyscreen door's either side are good but it would have been nice to have the same on the front door.
The awning does not come supplied with a connection system. we've bought a pole and clamp which seems to work rather well.
All in all its really good, it's provided us (2 of us) with so much more space. We havent tried the inner tent yet so cant comment on it. The groundsheet only covers the awning area - you need something else for the tunnel conection part.
One other niggle the back of the tent (next to the tunnel where it connects to the van) does not zip out for complete removal - however there is a handy pocket that you can fold it into.
We think its a great awning top tip so far - make sure you have the connector bit really tight, otherwise in the torrential rain (like at camper jam
) it starts to collect in sag, 5 minutes in the pouring rain sorting the guy lines soon sorted the problem though.
Our next show is run to the hills if you want to have a nosey!!!
