T25 Heater Matrix Intake?

T25 Heater Matrix Intake?
Please can someone tell me where the heater matrix air intake is on the T25. I have been having problem getting cold air and found the 2 side vent pipes connected to the wrong outlet port but still seem to have hot air all the time. It does vary from warm to hot with the control.

cold air is taken from behind the front grill.
remove it and you will see an upper middle section with a grill/mesh over it , this is the heater intake.
behind the radiator, seen from underneath with the spare tyre removed is a valve controlled by the middle heater control slider.
it switches off the water supply to the matrix , thus no air is heated and you get cold air! takes a moment to cool down once turnd off.
get some one to operate the lever and look to see the valve is moving underneath
could be broken/unclipped cable or seized valve
