Help needed with my Euro trip

Post by happy camper »

Hi Guys myself and my buddy are both hitting the big 40 next year and after years of talking about it we have decided to take a 2 week euro trip in my van instead of a party, it'll be just the two of us ( no wives or kids to spoil our fun :wink: ) and i was wondering if any of you guys had done a eurotrip in ya vans, if so what routes, campsites etc do you suggest ? we'd like to get down to italy if possible .

Thanx
I'm in my own lill world but its ok cos everyone here knows me !

Just see where you end up...

However the following website might be of some us to you http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/ it's run by a sort of spin off group from the motorhomefacts site (poitics I think got in the way as it often does.....) but there's a lot of folk on there who will be more than willing to share tips and advice from routes to places to stay.
Most of them are either running big "gin palce" style A Classes or are full timers, but they've still got time for everyone (from our experiences anyways..)

Advice;
Take as much time as you can, don't try and do x number of miles in a day - limit it to a couple of hours and see where you are, drink bottled water and aim for smaller villages to meet "real people", take lots of photos, don't rush anything - you're on the "mainland" and it's much slower...

Whatever yu do, enjoy it
Andi
:ok
What a long strange trip it's been
