Leisure Battery

Post by JW1 »

Looking to get a good quality leisure battery for T25 Vanagon Westfalia. Which one should I get (where from, price?) to fit correctly and will last the longest?

If you are wanting it to fit underneath the passengers seat similar to the main battery on a petrol T25 then the one you need to ask for is an 085 which relates to the overall size (W/L +H) and its Amph rating.....If it is going to live some where other than under the seat then go for the biggest you can afford.... most accessory shops have these and they can also be found in the larger supermarkets/B+Q etc etc.......

I have a 1.6 TD so have two spare slots behind the seats. What is the maximum measurements I should go for to enable the battery to fit? Where do i get the 085 battery then you are talking about?
