Hi. have a westy joker t25, 1985.
When i got it the guy said the temp light flashed sometimes but nothing to worry about, prob a faulty sensor as the needle gauge seems to work ok.
i was driving on motorway today..as usual the temp light starts flashing , after about 50 mph..then i get batt light flashing then constant , also the blue high beam l.e.d has ceased to function..
any ideas? was thinking something electrical but new to t25 and haven't got a haynes manual yet.
one last thing... i'm getting really hot air coming up from the base of the gearstick...anyone heard of this before ? and can i do anything about it.. Is it the blower stuck on? as it's cool air everywhere else.
sorry for all the questions... on hols with wife and kid... dont want the wee van to blow up
any help much appreciated..
cheers
d

Didn't you ought to use a trailer when you are towing!

On my van the temp light flashes sometimes and the needles on the temp and fuel drop as does the rev counter needle. All I do is reach under the dash and wriggle the wires near the connector block.
If your cooling fan is cutting in and your heater fan is able to blow hot and you have water in the system I think you are ok and it must just be a loose connection.. I'm no expert though.
