Hi,
I have "acquired" a roof mounted blower unit for a T25. Not seen one before so don't know whether it is an OEM item or aftermarket. It seems to fit the roof profile at the back against the tailgate and have 2 fans inside..... haven't investigated to see if there is a heating element in there too. It has moulded panels that fit the side profile behind the rear windows for its air supply.
Anyone else got one of these? Is it worth fitting!?!?! (I realise the description is rubbish; i'll try and add a pic later!) I have been surfing the net and haven't found anything similar so far.......

Re: Roof mounted blower
I'm sure I read somewhere about a South African or possibly Australian external rear roof mounted air intake system.. Could it be linked to that or a special order rear air con?
Picture would be good, sounds interesting

Sorry for the delay in responding, been camping in wet and windy wales......
Here are a couple of pics. I reckon a few bits must be missing. There are just the 2 fans that you can see in the pic, no heating element.... maybe there used to be an aircon bit to it!?!?

thought it was, but its a shame all the aircon bits aren't there

Presumably there should be an engine mounted pump unit, some pipework and controls..... not too much missing then!

Re: Roof mounted blower
That's the rear cover for the overhead A/C evaporator and blower.
Looks to be just the shell and doesn't have any of the A/C components
fitted to late vanagons
