Position of aux turbo cooling pipe

Post by syncroandy »

I want to re-fit the turbo cooling system to my pickup, and I have a chance to do this today as I'll be under there fitting a thermocouple to the exhaust manifold.

Thing is I can't figure out where the pipe sits. Can someone with this still in place please describe it or better yet get a picture or two ?

Andy,
I can't help with a picture but I am guessing that the pipe must run along below the exhaust manifold and feed air onto the top of the turbo centre housing. How much difference do you think this blower makes?

I am also considering refitting this system but seem to have lost the pipe. Are you able to post a picture of the pipe to remind me of just how it looks, please?

thanks
