Hi
I need some advice big styleee
I have got a recon engine (1.6 jx td) do you need to re torque the head down 90 degrees after say fifteen miles and then again after it is run in (1,000 miles)
can this make it run cooler?

If in the 'Book 'it advises you to re -torque the head bolts and you don't do it,,,,,,,,,,,It will only come back one day and bite you on the asre.

And to answer your second question, I doubt it will make your engine run cooler if you carried out the above, but if you don't do the above you will never know if it does make a difference....
