Yes here. http://www.keithandsylvia.co.uk/main%20 ... e_page.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or type 'split' as a search term in the WIKI section.

If you want a very simple install for the split charge then I would recommend the use of a smart relay, type Smartcom Relay in the search facility or look through recent posts in the tech forum. As for the 1000W invertor, this needs to be placed as close to the battery as possible and directly wired to it keeping the leads as short as possible. It should have an internal fuse, if not then you will need to fit one.......a huge one at 100amps but you are not going to use anywhere near 1000W........hope not or you might have to consider getting more batteries... :lol:

Incidentally, I've just fitted a split charge using a relay. Yesterday I ran a load test on the leisure (spotlight wired to leisure for a couple of hours). Sure enough it flattened leisure but it also brought down the main battery. For the life of me I can't see how. Relay contacts were open and there was nothing else connected to leisure so the main battery should be entirely isolated.

Ideas?

Disconnect the leisure battery, switch everything on in sequence that is connected to the leisure system and check nothing functions as starting point.

The leisure was already isolated - thats the mystery
