Hi all,
my Autohomes Kamper is leaking something into the footwell, right under the steering column.
Not much and it is oily. Could anybody tell me what it could be? Remember reading about this somewhere
but cannot remember.
Many Thanks
Sab

Re: Leak from somewhere...?
Could be one of 2 things, it is either your Brake master cylinder or clutch master cylinder starting to loose fluid.
Regards

Usually if it is the clutch at fault, the pedal arm will also be wet.

Re: Leak from somewhere...?
Thanks, Fritz.
How quickly will this need to be addressed?
Just that I have spent quite a bit on it just lately and funds are drying up..
Any idea around cost?

Re: Leak from somewhere...?
Unfortunately both the clutch and brake master cylinders use the same resevoir so if either leaks it needs sorting pretty quickly to avoid the fluid level dropping too low as this could result in brake failure.
Look on Brickwerks or ring GSF/Euro Car Parts, for prices of master cylinders (obviously you first need to establish which one is leaking)
