Second electrical plug in, in the dash

Post by captjon1959 »

I have been unable to determine what the smaller electrical plug in is on my 1984 Westfalia Wolfsburg edition. It is between the lighter and the glove box. It has a wire attached and I've seen in in photos of other dashes, but nowhere can I find a description of what it is for. I know it's a simple questions, but can anyone help me?
