how hard is it to fit a westy tow bar to a camper with big bumpers . :?: :ok

Might be an idea to say what you intend to tow. Mine has a towbar (never used it tho') and its mounted directly onto the standard bumper with just a re-enforcing plate behind the bumper, not sure I would use it to tow anything other than a small trailer but interested to see what replies you get on this.

When i bought mine it came with brackets and instructions for big bumper buses. I think a little cutting of the bumper is needed. Which is something i wouldn't relish doing.

:D i did not think you had to cut the bumper to fit a westy bar as i was told it gose under like a hock .
dont know what i am going to tow yetbut it will be handy if i want to two a traler
so i dont have to put the kitchen sink in the camper and have to clime over it all
when i stop to make cupper . but if i have to cut the bummper i will not fit it .

praps another type of tow bar would be better than the inferior towfalia?
