Auto gearbox help

Ive got a 1.9 Caravelle 3 speed auto,

Been reversed out of driveway and now will not move forward in any of the d,d2 or d1. Reverse still works. Starts normally in park or neutral
Checked the ATF lever and was fine and colour seemed ok, Checked the strainer which was fine just removed the bit of gunk that was inside and refilled with new fluid.
Tried again, reverse still worked, forward drives would not work still except for 1 time when drive engaged but now all forward drives not working again.

Any help / info would be much appreciated, do I need a new box?

Longtime since I owned an auto T25. but as far as I understand they are all but indistructable. in fact better than a manual box. If it worked ok when you parked it and will select reverse and drive backwards ok. i'd guess that there is a problem with the linkage cable.

Thanks for the reply, yeah checked the selector cable - adjusted it and got it to drive for a forward a little bit in a ll drives then back to square one. jacked up the rear and the gears run but drop it back down and it wont move.

Time for a new gearbox. Balls.
