Fridge Question: old models vs. new ones

i have an old one an RM182 that stopped working on gas
£45 service and its back on track
where in london are you, the place I went to was just in herts

if you do get a new one please let me know as I would have your old one (if your chucking it) as a spare
but as the others have said it canbe fixed

where about in herts did you go? i took mine somewhere around Welham Green area (GT Towing) which is fairly close from where I live in north London.

I woke up this morning and decided to buy the new fridge and bought it and then read the comments posted.....

Old models have scored!

I've canceled the order now and i'm ready for another shot.... third time lucky (i hope)

i rember the guy was gob smacked that the fridge still worked and had not seen one in years
anyway they did a good job, got to be taken out of course

i have some gass bits from a 212 i disposed of a couple of weeks ago.

I have a fridge question......I have a small fridge in the garage that I was hoping to sell. It says RM212 f on the plaque inside...
; the instructions in wiki indicate that this should be a three way fridge....

but on the front it has a gas switch and nothing else:




so is it a one way frigde? There is a small plastic connector on top of the fridge with 2 wires going into it, but I am thinking this may be for ignition. But it looks like it needs a 12v inpu into that plastic connector.

Don't know what to sell it as.....don't want to list it as a 212 f if people think they are getting a three way fridge. Just sold one of those, and there are many more connections!

look at the rear of the fridge.

look at the foil coverd fibreglass tube

the electric heating elements enter thi tube .
there should be one set for 12v and one set for 240v.
if no wires then its a single way.

have you a pic of the rear?
also the sticker may be universal.
