Re: split oil cooler?
Head gasket symtons can be misfiring, pressure in cooling system fluids mix up either way. You won't be able to see anything wrong with a leaking oil cooler.magic bus wrote:cheers andysimpson, ive took the oil cooler off, cant seem to find a leak on it ,im goin to fit new oil cooler and see how it goes

Re: split oil cooler?
My DJ oil cooler was always leaking and it turned out that one of the inlet/outlet spigots was cracked round the brazing ... these are something to check if you have a leak somewhere.

Re: split oil cooler?
have fitted new oil cooler from gsf, flushed out the coolent system using a little washing up liquid to disolve the oil
after four flushes the water is now clear
took the van out for a run all seems well, and the van seems to be running cooler than ever
cheers gaz
