how to fit a hitop?

The more i look at my tatty canvas roof the more i want to change it. If i removed the canvas, how does the hi top fit?!
its yellow + blue

or if you manage to find one second hand, they come up on here now and again, remove your old roof, the canvas and the cap, depending on the pop top you may want to leave the bed boards etc in place, this way you don't have to makes something new.

to fit the high top you'll need plenty of sika flex, tigerseal, purseal or similar, spread plenty round the gutters of the van, sit hightop on fill any gaps with sikka, let it go off, put more in a few days later, jobs a good un! :ok

easily do able on a saturday afternoon in the sun!

Just as DiscoDave says, My high top was off Ebay for £150 (fromBilly739) From cutting the hole to fitting ,Two hours. The advantage of second hand is that you probably get all the interior lining as well and that can save at lot of time and money. Mine was originally on a leisuredrive conversion and I prefer the style(more fluid) to other boxier styles. check out the photos in my garage..cheers ...Mark :ok
