Our van is making intermittent squeaks from what would appear to be the front left wheel.
Usually at low speed, after driving for some time and in low gear.
Any ideas to the cause?

Re: Sqeaky on the left.
Could be from the brakes.... (likely as it appears to be speed related) need inspecting and cleaning...
Could be the wheel bearing has a little play in it and allowing the disc to "kiss" the pads....
Is it worse on bumpy roads? could be upper suspension bushes if so... could be on there way out so will need replacing at some point...
Very difficult to diagnose on a forum...

Re: Sqeaky on the left.
Thanks toomanytoys.
I suspect the brakes are involved, but it sometimes happens when using just the gears to slow down.
That's a pretty good guess that, even for a forum diagnosis :p
Happens on flat roads, so nothing to suggest that there's a problem with suspension.

Mine too. Wishbone bushes. You live with it or replace with new but every chance the new one might squeak too. Most of the time it'll not make a noise until you encounter speed bumps which set it off again.
I kinda like the noise now.
