Stupid question

Post by mikec »

I'm about to put a Rock and Roll bed in my van, hinges on way from JK. What size foam should I be getting? Should the back and base foam be the same length? (Uh width? - lenght if you think of it as a bed! ) or one longer and one shorter so they sit right when it's a seat?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Michael

One longer ,one shorter on my Reimo & Holdsworth r&r beds....

Not sure which way round but would figure to have back sitting onto base to allow for any lap belts :ok

Do the back n base first and then in bed form measure the rear section so as to keep its continuity through to the back....

That makes sense!

That makes sense too but I''m trying to be clever, closing off the back to keep as storage space and having the bed extend onto a lowered table in front instead. At least that's the plan...

...watch this space

Well, where's your sense of adventure?

I'll see how it works, it seems like a good idea in theory...
