Could any kind soul tell be how to git the above off without BUSTING anything,

Depends whether it is in situ or not. When mine was out of the van i loosend the screws holding the hinges and then gently prised the door out from the hinges . To get access you will need to a least slide the fridge forward to get to the top of the fridge . :ok
