Air in fuel pipes ?

Air in fuel pipes ?
Hi just got my aaz conversion running at last !! bought as unfinshed project lots of wiring probs etc !! anyway the fuel lines are plastic and old ! so i have replaced one line with 6mm plastic reinforced (clear ) air line stuff and the 8mm is some green unknown plastic ! which fitted but it does allow the diesel to be seen! no leaks etc but when its running you can see air bubbles in the fuel line is this normal ? seems to run ok not had a diesel for years and with clear lines ! going to buy the plastic fuel lines from a company ive found on net to sort out proper soon any ideas chaps ?

if it has four hoses on fuel filter change the plasticx t piece on top
