Fuel Pump leak(JX)

Post by pocolow »

Since my camper developed a slight leak from the side of the fuel pump(triangular headed bolt) I have been doing a little checking up of options.
1) New pump £600+
2) Second hand pump (may be no better)
3) Garage fix £ 175+
4) DIY fix £10 + time and know how

Since funds are at present non existent, it is option 4....so what I would appreciate is any advice..I've ordered the new seals from Brickwerks and I'm fairly hands on with things VW so not too nervous....But all help and advice would be most welcome :ok
